Stein Brings Over 30 Years of Banking and Finance Experience to Leading St. Louis Accounting Firm
St. Louis, MO—Smith Patrick CPAs, a St. Louis-based accounting firm, announces Christian Stein as Senior Accountant on its Valuation and Litigation Support Team.
Stein brings over 30 years of experience in banking and finance to his new role. This appointment supports the CPA firm’s growing advisory and consulting team, which provides small businesses and families with personalized service and support.
As a relationship manager, leader, and multi-industry expert, Stein previously served as a senior vice president in corporate banking and healthcare at U.S. Bank. His expertise in finance, business cash flow analysis, treasury operations, and asset valuation offers Smith Patrick’s clients valuable financial insights.
In his role at Smith Patrick, Stein focuses on:
- Business valuations of closely held businesses for estate, gift, income tax, and partnership actions
- Forensic accounting
- Litigation support
- Economic damage measurements from personal injury, wrongful death, professional malpractice, and employment discrimination
He expects to achieve the Certified Public Accountant designation in 2025 and is currently an affiliate member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
He holds a Bachelor of Science from the School of Engineering at Washington University, a Master of Finance from Saint Louis University, and a Post-Graduate Degree from the Pacific Coast School of Banking from the University of Washington. Additionally, he is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association and has attained Series 7 and 63 licenses from the National Association of Securities Dealers.
